FLG phone integration
FLG validates UK phone numbers per lead group, so a valid E.164 number can be rejected. Here is how Allo handles FLG's dialer-first data model.

Connect Allo to FLG
Because FLG has a public API, Allo connects over that API and webhooks. These are the API surfaces you point at FLG: a small, focused REST API, JSON in and JSON out, with webhooks for real-time events.
Search your call history. Every record includes transcripts, AI summaries, recording URLs, IVR selections and transfer chains.
Full CRUD on your contact database. Create, fetch by ID, update and search, with engagement data baked into every response.
Send SMS programmatically from any of your Allo numbers. Dedicated endpoints for US and France, both in E.164 format.
Subscribe a URL to call, SMS and contact events. Full envelope payloads, no secondary fetch to enrich the data.
Pull the whole thread for a contact: calls and SMS stitched together, in order, with pagination built in from day one.
List every Allo number on your account. Use it to route, filter or match a number to an owner without hardcoding.

Allo and FLG, answered
Almost certainly the lead group's validation setting. If Only accept valid UK local Phone numbers is ticked, FLG expects a UK national format number starting 01, 02 or 07, and rejects E.164 values such as +447700900123.
Only if validation is unticked for that lead group, and then the field accepts anything at all, including values a dialer cannot ring. FLG's own advice is to store properly dialable numbers if the lead is going to a dialer or click to call.
Because validation is set per lead group under Settings, Lead group, Edit Group. Two groups in the same account can have different rules, so Allo normalises per group.
Phone Number and Alternative Phone Number. Allo checks both when matching an inbound caller.
It is rejected at import with a per record reason rather than created silently, so you get told which row failed and why.
