Make sure every call
gets answered

Call routing controls how an incoming call reaches your team, ringing people, not lines. Ring everyone at once, or one after another in a cascade with a ring time you set. If no one picks up, the call goes to your AI receptionist or another number.

Trusted by growing teams

Sales and support teams route every call through Allo.

Two ways to ring

Simultaneous or cascade, set per number, with a fallback that always answers.

Connects in seconds

First teammate to answer takes the call, the rest stop ringing.

EU data, by default

Routing runs on EU infrastructure, GDPR compliant out of the box.

Missed calls used to slip through, now they reach someone

Without Allo

  • One phone rings, and only if that person is free
  • No say over who gets the call first
  • Calls drop to voicemail when someone steps away
  • Covering for a teammate means forwarding by hand

With Allo

  • Ring the whole team at once, or in order
  • Set who rings first, and for how long
  • No answer rolls to your AI receptionist
  • Reorder or reroute in a couple of clicks

Every way to route a call

Ring your team simultaneously or in a cascade, forward to a number, reach one teammate direct, or fall back to your AI receptionist. One number, your routing.

Rings your team, not your lines

A single number reaches the people you pick. Ring everyone at once, or one after another in the order you set, each for the ring time you choose.

Before you start

Call routing controls how an incoming call is distributed to you and your team. It rings people, the users on Allo, not phone lines. You choose simultaneous (everyone at once) or cascade (one after another, 5 to 60 seconds each), set the order, and pick what happens if no one answers: your AI receptionist, voicemail, or another number. You configure it per number in Settings > Call routing.

Two. Simultaneous, where everyone rings at once and the first to answer gets the call; and cascade, where people ring one after another in the order you set, each for 5 to 60 seconds, with a final fallback. More routing paths, an IVR menu and CRM- and activity-based routing, are on the way.

Yes. Beyond ringing your team, a number can fall back to another number, and you can temporarily reroute a number to yourself or a teammate when someone is away, then switch it back.

Call routing is included from the Business plan, with both simultaneous and cascade ringing and the AI-receptionist fallback, at no extra charge.

Routing distributes an incoming call across your team by ringing people in the mode you choose, and it shows you the caller's name before you answer. Forwarding simply sends a call on to another number. Routing is about who rings and in what order; forwarding is a single hop.

Yes. Add or reorder people on a number's routing in a couple of clicks, so you can take a teammate's calls for a week or two and switch back when they return.

Call routing software decides how incoming calls are distributed to a team, by rules you set, so the right person answers. Allo routes by ringing your users simultaneously or in a cascade, with a fallback that always answers.
