What is a power dialer?
A power dialer is outbound calling software that automatically dials the next number on a list as soon as the previous call ends. It calls one contact at a time per rep, removing manual dialing while keeping a person on every connected call.
How it works
A rep loads a list of contacts, often straight from a CRM, and starts a session. The dialer places the first call; when it ends, it logs the outcome and dials the next number.
Because it calls one person at a time, there are no abandoned calls: whoever answers always reaches the rep. Reps see the contact's details before the call connects.
Most power dialers let reps skip a contact, pause the session, leave notes and set a disposition after each call, which syncs back to the CRM.
Why it matters
More calls per hour
No time lost looking up and typing numbers between calls.
Compliant by design
One call per rep means no silent calls and no dropped prospects.
Better conversations
Reps see who they are calling before each call and log notes as they go.
Allo and Power dialer
Allo's power dialer is a paid add-on, included in the Ultra plan: load a list from your CRM and call it nonstop, with every call logged.
