Follow Up Boss integration FAQ

It's a native integration. In Allo, go to Settings then Integrations, find Follow Up Boss and click Connect, then sign in and grant the permissions. No developer needed. Only admins and managers of an Allo workspace can connect an integration.

No, the contact sync is one-way. Your people come from Follow Up Boss into Allo, and people you create in Allo are not pushed back. Calls and texts go the other way: Allo logs them on the matching person in Follow Up Boss.

Each call is logged as a call with its AI summary, the full transcript and a link to the recording. Each text conversation is logged as a message, with the message itself and a link to the conversation in Allo.

The first sync can take up to 15 minutes on a large database, then people sync incrementally every 10 minutes. Allo only pulls people who have a phone number, since a lead with no number is nobody you can call.

By default Allo only logs calls onto people who already exist in Follow Up Boss, so nothing is created behind your back. Turn on "Create lead for unknown calls" in the integration settings and Allo creates the lead for you.

Yes. Click any phone number in Follow Up Boss and the call opens in the Allo app, with the person already matched. You'll need the Allo app installed on that device.
